I’m still having some trouble sleeping through the night, and have begun experiencing some very vivid dreams that focus on my insecurities and anxieties. I used to use sleep as a refuge to get away from anything that I was going through, but since coming here that has changed and being awake is now the refuge. I met with my discipleship mentor and we did some praying over all of this, so if you are a praying person, your prayers are much appreciated.
I’m babysitting Ana tonight, one of our staff kids. Eventually her dad will get my name right, it takes him until the third try before he gets it usually. Taylor is not a common name in Mexico, so it’s hard for most people to remember it. It has turned into an ongoing joke now for people who can finally get it right, and I’m never opposed to some fun. :)
